Wynwood is a neighborhood located in downtown Miami east of Interstate 95, south of Interstate 195, west of East Coast Ave. and north of NW. 20th St. It is primarily a residential neighborhood bordered by Beverly Terrace, Edgewater, Little Haiti, Allapattah and Overtown. It's also known as the Arts District, "Miami's Art & Soul".

The Midtown Miami developments began in 2005 where previously abandoned warehouses were turned into studio apartments, lofts, cafés, restaurants and lounges. It is considered Miami's newest hipster neighborhood.
Along with its art history, Wynwood also has ties to the technology and fashion districts. This is where a lot of the major clothing retailers and distributors are located in Miami.
