It was built between 1980 and 1982 by the architectural firm Arquitectonica, which is created many of the buildings in this area. This building features a total of 96 units ranging in size from 1300 ft.² to just under 2200 ft.². Two, three, and four bedroom units are available. Homeowners dues are based on the size of the unit but are typically between $1400 and $1700 per month.
Condo association fees cover all common area maintenance, amenity maintenance, exterior building maintenance, landscaping, management, Water and Pest Control. Association Dues Also Cover Sewer, Trash Removal and Basic Cable. There Are Rental Restrictions As No Unit Can Have a Lease Less Than One Year.
The Atlantis has a popular celebrity following as the staircase leading into the lobby was featured in the 1980s cult classic film Scarface. The iconic building is also well remembered for being in the opening credits of the 1980s hit show Miami Vice. Atlantis also was featured in the game is in city 3000 and featured on Telemundo soap operas. The Atlantis is a premier landmark and iconic building to Miami's skyline.
